Burt Reynolds has died at the of 82

Sad to hear the news that  popular seventies/eighties actor and mustache icon Burt Reynolds has died at the of 82. Cause of death has not yet been publicized.

Reynolds is definitely one of the most famous leading men of his era, starring in films including:  “Deliverance,” “Smokey and the Bandit, “Cannonball Run”, “The Longest Yard”, “Semi-Tough” and “Boogie Nights”. In fact, Reynolds received an Oscar nomination for his work in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Boogie Nights”.

Reynolds also gained notoriety In the early 1970s appearing as the first celebrity male-nude centerfold in a 1972 issue of Cosmopolitan.

Reynolds was married and divorced twice, first in the 1960s to “Laugh-In” comedienne Judy Carne and then to WKRP in Cincinnati’s Loni Anderson. He also has an adopted son Quinton from his second marriage. (via Variety)
