Counting Crows Gets Personal at BB&T Pavilion - Aug. 11, 2018 - Pictures

Counting Crows stopped by Philly on their 25 Years and Counting Tour with the band Live this past August 11, 2018 to the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ. Despite the rain, spirits were high and the show went on with much fanfare. Frontman Adam Duritz shared many personal stories during and in between songs, talking about topics such as all the love he left behind while on tour and not appreciating it while he had it ...  to back in the old days, before the band got their big break, living in Berkeley, California, and playing shows or sitting in with other bands or informal playing sessions just about every night until their song "Round Here" broke through to alternative and then mainstream radio and made them stars. Many instruments were brought out during the set. Besides the standard guitar, bass, drums, there was piano, keyboards, accordion, mandolin, harmonica, and more.
