Huge congrats goes out to our own Philadelphia Eagle Nick Foles who won a huge award at last night's ESPYS!
Foles, very fittingly, took home the 'Best Championship Performance,' and really was there any other option?
The quarterback beat out out Villanova's Donte DiVincenzo, Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant, and the Houston Astros’ George Springer for the award.
His acceptance speech was really touching too.
"We faced so much adversity this year, we have an amazing team," Foles said. "It's so much fun to go to work in that locker room every single day. I couldn't have done it without y'all."
"I mean, we see what happened. We won the first Super Bowl in Philadelphia history, so we got a special group of guys."
He then ended it with the encouraging words: "Go out there every day and be bold,"
Very very true words.
