Jay-Z Writes Open Letter To Mayor Kenney Over Made In America Location Move

Yesterday it was announced that next year's 2019 edition of Philly music festival Made In America would be moving it's location from the Ben Franklin Parkway! While there weren't too many details on it right away, it was said that the size of the event space was no longer needed.

Well, this has left a few people upset...none more than the festival's creator Jay-Z. In fact, he's so upset that he wrote an open letter to our Mayor Jim Kenney.

Jay is not happy and says he found out about the move the same way everyone else did: through the media.

“We are disappointed that the mayor of the city of Philadelphia would evict us from the heart of the city, through a media outlet, without a sit-down meeting, notice, dialogue, or proper communication. It signifies zero appreciation for what Made in America has built alongside the phenomenal citizens of this city.”

He also says they even tried to stop this year's 2018 edition (on the parkway) from happening.

Hmmm...so where will they head in 2019? Will it still be in Philadelphia?
