Apparently music runs in the Auerbach family - Dan Auerbach (from The Black Keys) will be releasing an album by his dad Chuck on his record label Easy Eye Sound this Father's Day. The coolest part of it, this is his dad's DEBUT album.
Dan said in a statement: “After getting so much help over the years from my dad I was happy to lend a hand in the making of this record and return the favor.”
Dear ol dad isn't brand new to this music making thing - in fact, he helped with some lyrics on Thickfreakness and also on Dan Auerbach’s solo album, Keep it Hid.
Chuck Auerbach's "Remember Me" will be out on June 15th and you can get an idea of what it will sound like with the song "My Old Man," below.
