Live Nation Philadelphia has shared an exclusive first look inside the development of their next new music venue,The Met Philadelphia! Based on the video and my conversations with Live Nation, this looks to be an incredible new venue.
The Met is located on North Broad Street at the location of the former Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House and is set to open December 2018. Originally built in 1908 by opera impresario Oscar Hammerstein, The Met Philadelphia is currently undergoing a $56 million restoration in partnership with Live Nation, Eric Blumenfeld and Holy Ghost Headquarters to transform the historic theater into the crown jewel of North Broad Street’s renaissance and you can be part of the action.
