Jersey Creamery Introduces Pork Roll Ice Cream

A Jersey culinary favorite was just turned into a new ice cream flavor...and I'm not sure how I feel about this one!

Jersey people love a good pork roll...but would the biggest fan try pork roll ice cream??

Windy Brow Farms, a creamery in Sussex County just unveiled this summer's newest treat, Taylor ham ice cream.

It's a pork roll flavored ice cream that also includes maple and French toast!

They say the ice cream is made by "first caramelizing Taylor pork roll and placing it in the oven before pan-frying it. The ham is then coated with cinnamon and sugar while maple syrup and pieces of challah bread act as the French-toast portion."

Would you try this?? It's actually the first in a series of Jersey-themed ice creams, which also will include tomato pie!
