Nicolas Cage crashed a day-long film festival

"not the bees...NOT THE BEEEES"....  (see Nic Cage Wicker Man YouTube montage)

Nicolas Cage is easily my favorite, meme, actor, performer, pop-culture, cult figure of all time.

And guess what? There are TON Of people out there like (you?) and ME who love Nicolas Cage and his mad genius just the same.

The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas has for the last 4 years held a film festival in Cage's honor called "C4GED 4-EVER" which is an all day long "Nicolas Cage Marathon" celebrating all things Nicolas Cage including showing movies from a curated mystery box of films from Cage's career.

And this year (apparently it's final year)...The Alamo Drafthouse decided to go out w/ a bang...

Nicolas Cage showed up!

According to CoS:

Cage graced the audience with his inimitable presence and the  fresh batch of Cage classics they showed at the festival were actually what that the actor hand-picked: Bangkok Dangerous, Joe, Bringing Out the Dead, Army of One, and Lord of War.

As if that weren’t enough, Cage also took the stage and delivered a dramatic reading of Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart,” which the Drafthouse has been kind enough to make public.
