New Oasis Documentary to Celebrate 25 Years of Legendary 'Knebworth' Shows

I have silent rivalry going on with Mike Jones here for the title of chief "Oasis Guy" here at ALT 104.5. He doesn't know about it, cus it's all just in my mind, but i'm always here looking for any and all Oasis news.

Noel Gallagher has recently confirmed that the band will release a new documentary celebrating the 25th anniversary of their two legendary shows at Knebworth Park in England where they played to 280,000!!! fans in two days.

Speaking with BBC Radio, Noel went on to say that it will lean heavily on never-before-seen archive footage that will include the performances as well as sharing memories of fans who attended.

Over a month ago, the Gallagher brothers set up a production company called Kosmic Kyte, and it was believed that a bio pic could be in the works....however Noel poured cold water on that saying that's not the case. So it looks like the first project will in fact be this documentary.

I have watched their first documentary, Supersonic on Netflix, listened to podcasts about and am very aware at just how big these Knebworth shows were in sheer size alone, but also cementing just how popular Oasis was back in the 90s. They were the biggest band out and I have been patiently waiting for them to squash their beef and freakin tour already.

Take my money. $10,000, I don't care. I want it. I need it.
