LiveNation Boss Confident in Large-Scale Concerts By Mid-Summer

He may be a little biased, but the CEO of LiveNation is feeling pretty confident about concerts coming back...and maybe even sooner than you would think.

Speaking to his constituents during a LiveNation Q4 earnings call, Michael Rapino said "a clear outline to a 75% to 100% capacity for outdoor US events in 2021 was looking likely to be green-lit." Adding that for outdoor concerts, "certain states might not be ready, but as long as some open up to the right capacities, we can start midsummer, and in the southern US we can go all the way into November."

This is some positive thinking. While it would be amazing, I've kind have mentally made peace that gathering in large crowds in this Summer might be unrealistic. Hopefully i'm totally wrong, because that would mean that we have made a ton of progress, but we shall see.

This all comes on the heels of LiveNation selling out of the England's, August 2021 Reading and Leeds Festival tickets in a mere 3 days.
