FINALLY Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl met his "archival" Nandi Bushell!!
If you have been following along at home, you know the two have been going back and forth in a virtual musical battle.
Nandi challenged Dave and Dave gladly accepted.
Until now, the two have never met. But thanks to technology, the drumming legend got to meet the former Nirvana drummer.
“I can’t believe I’m talking to you. I feel like I’m meeting a Beatle,” Grohl gushed early in the conversation.
After meeting her parents, swapping stories on their childhood drum experiences and asking for drum lessons, Grohl asked Bushell if she was interested in collaborating on a new track. She was all for it!

Meeting Mr. Grohl was one of the best experiences of my life! Dave Grohl is so awesome, kind and friendly! I cant believe he wants to write a song with me and asked me to perform on stage with the @Foo Fighters! How EPIC is that! Thank you @NYTimes for organising the meeting! I cant wait to see what Mr. Grohl is planning next!
